The GLMW Scout Network is the provision within Scouting exclusively for 18-25s. All members of the Scout Movement (in GLMW) aged 18-25 are a member of Scout network. Network is run for the members, by the members. It recognises the pressures that are on all members in this age range, and you are welcome to do as much or as little as you wish. You can join online by visiting here, and then after completing CRB checks you will become a member. NetworksNetworks operate locally and run a programme of normally weekly meetings, similar to an explorer unit, but with greater access to a wider range of activities and targetted specifically at adults. The county aims to introduce more networks as the demand requires. ProgrammeAll GLMW Scout network members are welcome at the programme of all of our networks as well as the following items of programmes which will be "county-wide" activities:
The committeeThe network committee exists to enable the members to govern the network, it sets the annual membership fee, organises the "county-wide" events, and is formally consulted on the creation and disollution by the CSNC of networks. Its members are:
